It is the topic that everybody can relate very well as it has happened with all of us at some point in our life. But we never want to talk about this topic openly. Don’t consider Alone and Lonely to be synonyms; there is a fine line between them that creates a whole lot of a difference. Some people think that if the person is joyful or surrounded by a bunch of people, he cannot be lonely but that’s not the case. Loneliness has nothing to do with the number of people that surrounds a person but the quality of the relationship that he builds with somebody or himself. If a person has only one friend and the other person has a bunch of friends, it may be the case that latter person may be lonely and the person with the only friend not, because he may be having a better bond with that one friend that other person doesn’t have with so many friends.

ALONENESS

Most of the people are afraid of being alone, and they always strive for a company or stuff to do because they have misunderstood Aloneness with Loneliness. The mobile phone is the perfect example of the company that everybody is endeavoring for; its cheap and for long-lasting company all you need is a charged Mobile and Internet. But, you should understand that the fear of not becoming lonely is not allowing you to think the other way around that this fear is parting you from yourself. In this fast-moving world, I don’t think anybody has the time to look upon themselves. Everybody is just after the money and fame, the thing that comes at the bottom in priorities is self-knowledge. You may also think that the time spent alone is the time wasted. A famous quote says that-“He who controls others may be powerful, but he who has mastered himself is mightier still.” So if you want to be master yourself, you will have to introspect and discover where you can improve upon yourself. In this way, you can transform that wasted time into building the most useful skill. You can solve 90% of your problems just by introspecting. Buddha said that-“All that we are is a result of what we have thought.”

LONELINESS

Being lonely is the worst feeling that could ever happen to any person. But have you ever thought about why somebody feels lonely? NO. Right, we haven’t because at that moment our mental state doesn’t allow us to do so, and after that phase passes, we again foolishly return to what we were doing without giving a thought to make a way out of it. Many things make the person feel lonely, one of them waiting for the perfect person who you think will fix your life and make it a better place. This thought shows that how much we underestimate our company and wait for that person to make our life better. Every person is fully-fledged and can do anything he/she wants with life. So enjoy your company and discover that incredible feeling. It may also happen when a person he wants to talk or meet ignores them. He thinks that nobody cares about him or he doesn’t have any place in anybody’s life. A famous quote says that-“there are some things that you can only learn in a storm.” So next time when you feel lonely take it as an opportunity and try to learn something so that you know how to tackle loneliness next time.

Stop yearning for somebody to make you happy. If you want to reach your destination, you must take the steering of your life in your hand and never let anybody divert you from your path. Remember, there can be happiness in Aloneness and learning in Loneliness.
