It’s a common perception that the law is a fixed centerpiece of society, a set of unchanging assertions that guide the behavior of everyone and everything. It gives people faith that there is a truly global right and wrong. While this sentiment does hold often true, it becomes less applicable as we deviate from certain fundamental human tenets.
