JAK has always been about more than just connecting service providers to people in need, we set out to build a platform that has a purpose and is fair to all users.
To this end we have introduced the Job Guarantee Initiative, ensuring all parties are covered in the unlikely occurrence that a job is not completed to satisfaction.
“The Job Guarantee will cover the cost of completing, correcting or rectifying faulty work arising from jobs undertaken by a JAK Service Provider who is unable to rectify the work themselves.”
The Job Guarantee is offered to both customers and tradies within the app.
We stand behind the quality of our Service Providers on our platform and the workmanship that they perform. Our service providers undergo a verification process before being approved on the platform to ensure they have the relevant qualifications, are police checked and are insured to perform their duties to the highest level.
In circumstances where a JAK customer has an issue relating to work performed by a JAK Service Provider, the customer may be entitled to claim on the Job Guarantee (T&C apply www.jakapp.com.au).
In this instance, we have a system in place to support both parties to ensure a positive outcome for all. In continuing our ethos of being fair we have a unique offering to our JAK Service Providers. The Job Guarantee covers a job undertaken by a JAK Service Provider who is unable to complete or rectify work themselves due to extenuating circumstances such as illness or family issues.
