FFS RPM! A stone portal?
More unexplained shenanigans at RPM Raceway
By now, we have all become accustomed to giraffe migration caused by NFT fruit, giant metal rings crashing into the race track, and enormous car manufacturing facilities emerging from the deep, but a stone circular portal possibly capable of inter-dimensional travel? Now that is a bridge too far!
And yet, there it is: what appears to be a stone circular portal.
At approximately 3:30 am on June 1st, the RPM metaverse began to exhibit strange anomalies. Observers first began seeing large groups of giraffes making their way towards Coorest Corner. At the same time, the raceway’s electronic systems and power grid began displaying wild readings.
At approximately 3:33 am, a blinding pulse of light appeared in the night sky over the Coorest Corner. As soon as it appeared it was gone. What remained in its place was beyond anyone’s imagination.
A stone ring surrounding what appears to be some type of anti-matter fusion core is silently hovering over RPM’s race track. The object is approximately 30 feet in diameter and emits a low monotone hum. Other than that, not much is known.
In the meantime, observers have dubbed the ring “the portal”. However, no one is certain whether the stone ring is actually a portal. Since arriving, the ring has remained hovering in Coorest Corner without incident.
Authorities attribute its appearance to recent contact with the Mythical Worlds representatives. However, MW remains tight-lipped on having any involvement of “the portal’s” appearance, but CEO Michael Corkery did assure us that they were not concerned about its appearance.
He went on to say that “the light emitted from the ring reduced energy costs in that part of the racetrack by 40%, and the fruit has mysteriously doubled in size.” What could possibly go wrong?” When asked whether he thought the ring posed a health threat, he responded “nah.”
So what does it do? Is it dangerous, does it want something? Why is it here? Apparently, the answers to those questions are classified. Fortunately, a number of experts went on record to explain that the portal, if it indeed is a portal, likely acts as a portal. This much they are absolutely certain of.
RPM promised to share more details as they became declassified. However, when pressed about whether the ring would give Mythical World’s racing team an advantage, they declined to comment.
