Handling fame and fortune can sometimes be more difficult than gaining the same, and not all are the master of the art.

The above line defines Ranu Mandal at its best, who made a mockery of herself after she verbally lashed on a woman fan who tried to invade her personal space for a mere selfie.

In a video that has been doing the rounds on the web, Ranu Mondal can be seen asking her fan in Hindi “Yeh kya hota hai? (What is this),” after the woman fan taps her on the shoulder in an attempt to get her attention.

Ever since the video went viral, the netizens have been criticizing Ranu Mandal for the way she behaved with the fan. “Don’t touch me I’m famous,” one person wrote sarcastically on Twitter.

Ranu became internet famous after a video of her singing a Lata Mangeshkar at a railway station song went viral. Later she was also approached by singer Himesh Reshammiya, under whom she recorded a couple of songs.
