Did you have a class that changed the way you think?
My eleventh grade math class was probably one of the most challenging yet rewarding classes I’ve ever taken. It taught me different ways to approach problems and how to arrive at solutions. Now, I use those techniques in my college math classes.
What one piece of advice would you give high school students, or yourself in high school?
To current high school students: take advantage of all of the opportunities you are given and don’t stress over the little things

Top 5 things you WON’T read in the brochure about The University of Michigan?
1. Saturday mornings are the best nights of the week
2. In a school of 44,000 students you can still manage to see the same faces every day
3. Your hallmates/suitemates can become your best friends
4. Polar vortexes are manageable
5. The dining hall food is better than you think!
What’s your favorite and least favorite aspect of your school?
One of the things I love most about my school is the sense of community and that even though we all come from different backgrounds, we all bleed blue. My least favorite aspect would have to be the winter, but it makes me appreciate the other seasons a lot more.
