Did you have a class that changed the way you think?
My Gender in Literature class completely changed me. I already had an interest in gender studies/ feminism, but once I was immersed in it I became a different person. I truly see the world with a more critical lens and I’m glad I do.
How did you decide what school you were going to go to?
I applied to Syracuse University because it had a prestigious education program, school spirit, and a gorgeous campus. Ultimately, I chose SU because it had the best financial package and that’s what it came down to for my family and me.

What are the top 5 things you definitely WON’T read in the brochure about Syracuse?
1. The dining halls are actually good. Obviously you get sick of it here and there, but they are better than some other schools I know.
2. Not everyone goes to the basketball games… it seems like it in the brochures and that’s what Syracuse is known for, but don’t worry if that’s not your scene.
3. A capella has a relatively big following on campus.
4. Greek life is big on campus, but there is definitely a large and great population of independents.
5. The housing lottery system sucks and it will make you mad, but that’s a problem at a lot of schools and it works out because the dorms at SU are nice.
