Terms for Science Writing

In response to Cal Newport’s Toward a Deeper Vocabulary:

Writing: it is when you are actually writing

Drafting: it is when you just jot ideas to write later

Revising: it is when you revise what you have already written

Reading: it is when you read material related to what you will write

Skimming: it is when you just skim material related to what you will write

Anything else?
