“Camarón que se duerme se lo lleva la corriente.”

“Try hard”

(Spanish saying)

Dear Adrealm community,

Today’s World Wide Hot Spots aka our weekly Crypto and Blockchain News have a Spanish flavour. In fact, we’ve added a couple popular sayings.

The reason we cover crypto and blockchain news from around the world is that — despite some skepticism about the positive development of blockchain tech and cryptos (“Bitcoin is the mother of all scams” cit. Nouriel Roubini), we are bearish about the application of blockchain tech to several sectors. From administration to healthcare, from trade to digital advertising, this emerging technology can improve transparency, security, and faster contract execution.

We like it so much that we’ve decided to organize a Ted-like conference “Taps and Swipes” with the China Europe International Business School on October 24, in Shanghai. It’s free and you can register by scanning the QR Code in the picture.

Our Speakers: Prof Ghose from NYU
Ran Yi — cofounder of CryptoStrategies and advisor at Kronos
Dr Cameron-Perry from Adrealm
Brendon Powell — Head of Product at Quarry.

Register here.

Hope you can be there, but if not, no worries: we’ll post a video of the conference!
