Reducing noise in your database operations with Kotlin on Android
Rakeeb Rajbhandari

I liked your article but personally I would not use the extension functions the way you did. To me the getUser() on a String class is bad code smell. Please notice that the extension function is visible in every part of your codebase wherever you use a String object and when you go out of the context of the database operations, this function does not any sense.
