A start

Its time to get started.

As an individual I have always been guilty of desiring perfection at the first attempt. The first time I actually sat down and wrote anything of my own volition, I was devastated at the seemingly yawning chasm between my work and that of Tolstoy or Hemingway.

I've since come to terms with this terrible revelation and have persevered with writing and had a little small scale success. Small perhaps in the grand scheme of things, but enough to demonstrate to me that this is where my energies should be directed.

This is what I want to do.

A veritable epiphany to someone who has never really been sure.

So the decision has been made and part of the journey is writing a few words such as these , or hopefully a few more interesting ones each day.

Good writing- Adrian
