Oh my god, not this again. There was never any “gender controversy” surrounding the movie. It’s all journalistic angle-looking .

I have never seen not even one comment smashing this movie for the female cast but in the weeks following the release of the trailer I’ve read a lot of them complaining deservedly for the lame jokes (like the cringeworthy “The power of Patty compels you”) and overall shallowness.

So yeah, there was a controversy but it was all about the need for remake and the quality of it’s trailer. Because maybe you can’t judge the book by it’s cover by you can sure judge the cover. Right?

Having said that the first reviews got me intrigued.
