AWS lambdas are a very powerful tool and they have been more and more popular over the last few months.
Using lambdas you can perform any types of computational tasks without any kind of server managing or provisioning. This can be serving web pages, executing time based tasks to calling APIs and integrating with other AWS services.
They are especially interesting if you keep their execution time pretty low.
Coming from the Node.Js world, I recently decided to do the move to Python and I started to write some of my lambdas with Python.
