Just three years after he galloped into our lives, Horse’s Internet magic has officially disintegrated.
In a peculiar ending to a beloved Twitter mystery, writer Susan Orlean revealed this morning in the New Yorker that the cult favorite account @Horse_ebooks isn’t the delightful spam robot we suspected it to be, but a man-run piece of performance art.
