Japan’s No Good, Very Bad Black History Month

I lived in Japan for two years. All I can say is, in some respects I can now understand the United States in 1950. Very odd, but not everywhere. Many love the culture, but they don’t understand most of the racism that black and other Americans faced and still face.
The music, now that’s another story. Jazz and blues is very big there. So, everything in subtext, I suppose.
