He joined Dolphin-Browser, one of the most popular mobile browsers on smartphones in 2011. At the time, he was a Systems Director responsible for important projects such as Dophin Sonar (speech recognition), big data platform (similar to Umeng), news recommendation system and some innovative projects.
In 2016, Rong Peng co-founded ABC. He was part of the core management (initial shareholder) and serve as the Technical Director. At that time, the development track was defined as finance (AI+Blockchain+Cloud). The first breakthrough point was blockchain. The product was called Tongxinclub, a blockchain-based mutual assistance platform, which was designed to solve the current problems in mutual assistance, such as opacity and low efficiency. The advantages of applying blockchain are: information is made public, efficient democratic decision-making, error-free contract execution and the system will never crash. The second breakthrough point was AI+Cloud. The products were modeling.ai analyst.ai, and Eversight, which were designed to use technologies like in-depth learning and image processing to change inefficient ways of obtaining and processing information in the traditional finance field.
Rong Peng has been actively involved in the fields of software architecture, system optimization, blockchain, data aggregation, data mining and data visualization. Since joining Dolphin, he has been actively engaged in research and development as well as management (including product management), therefore accumulating a lot of experience in his management of product and research.
Coincide with the Founding Team
Since being exposed to the concept of blockchain, Rong Peng believes that blockchain is different from traditional technology. It embodies the ecology and equilibrium. It is a model that can make the productivity and the production relationship perfect, which is valuable to improve the existing organizational and social problems. Based on the potential of future development in blockchain, at the end of 2017, he decided to devote himself to the blockchain business.
