It’s true that 80–85% are covered and maybe most of those covered are happy, but 60% of the country now believes gov’t should ensure health care for everyone, which isn’t what we’ve currently got. Consequently, I think saying most of the country is happy with the current system is untrue.

As for expanding Medicaid, yeah, I’d be OK with that, though I don’t think it’d be as effective as Medicare For All. As the one guy said in the article, Medicaid is a stripped down version so choice/access would be more limited.

Though I still support pushing for MFA b/c it is the more ambitious goal, which means inevitable compromise would still result in a better system. If the goal is expansion of Medicaid, the inevitable compromise would be even more watered down.
