This is all a little surreal.

You started off this whole thing by criticizing the left for not cooperating well enough and demonstrating a penchant for petty squabbling, then cited Michael Cernovich in a misguided attempt to demonstrate that there are people worth collaborating with whose differences run much deeper than any that exist between those of us on the left.

In the wake of predictable and justifiable criticism for name-checking a troll who rightfully alienates the majority of minorities and women—two somewhat critical groups for left-leaning movements, no?—you don’t correct the error. Instead, you double down, which only escalates the infighting to the point you’re now lobbing body blows at Counterpunch, which is most definitely a liberal, anti-establishment outlet whatever other faults it has, thus perpetuating the exact thing you were initially decrying!

Can you really not see how this whole episode proves, beyond any reasonable doubt, that association with grotesques such as Cernovich is counterproductive?

Really? REALLY?!?!

I mean, step the fuck back from your ego and try to see the larger picture.

And the larger travesty is that your original point—working with anti-establishment groups on the right as long as they don’t espouse alt-right tendencies regardless of what they call themselves—was a sound one and salvageable if you could just admit the smallest of errors.

For someone who spends a lot of time savaging Hillary Clinton’s manifestations of narcissism, you’re demonstrating quite a few of them yourself.

One other thing:

“This sort of shakeup is precisely why this is such an exciting time to be alive.”

If you honestly believe we’re careening towards nuclear and/or ecological armageddon, how can you claim it’s “such an exciting time to be alive”?

Leans to the left, but sees reason on both sides if you get beyond the leadership. Hypocrisy and intellectual dishonesty are my pet peeves.
