Not everything falls under political economy. i wish it did, You mention semiotics…come on, say postmodernity, say deconstruction. You are open to challenge. Feminism and genealogies of Sade and Rousseau affords the postmodern form of resistance as vectoralised transgression, breaking boundaries (your right begins where mine’s end…sade thought about that, there is the justice and legal rights), thermodynamic volatility, reclaiming space. And the anachronistic yet fundamental egalitarianism of Rousseau for the sake of justice. This all though genealogical. And then what does Milo do? what does Alt right do? For the first time the right appropriates postmodern transgression, a usual left domain, and they adapt it for their political and demagogic purposes. The right cottoned on. And the young 4chan man as outsider via imputations of sexual failure or feminist high school pedagogy just not as bright as the girls…did Milo create a classic Gramscian subaltern out of this or what?
