Service Members Can Now Find Civilian Career Opportunities Through Aeyon SkillBridge Program
Vienna, VA, June 16, 2022– Aeyon, a provider of business system migration, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), program management, and management consulting services, is pleased to announce the implementation of the DoD Skillbridge Program at Aeyon.
Aeyon is now a SkillBridge organization that has been authorized by the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense through the official Memorandum of Understanding to work with each of the applicable branches of the military Services and respective installation commanders to develop SkillBridge training programs for their personnel.
The DoD SkillBridge program allows Service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through industry-specific training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. SkillBridge connects Service members with industry partners, like Aeyon, in real-world job experiences.
Peter Hart, Aeyon’s Director of Human Capital states, “Given our company’s track record on hiring veterans, and the difficulty some people experience in shedding the uniform, this program could be a spectacular way to support the veteran community while also potentially adding experienced members to our team.”
Service members should contact their installation SkillBridge point of contact for details about Service and command-specific guidance about the SkillBridge approval process.
