In English is “O Allah! Guide me with those whom You have guided, and strengthen me with those whom You have given strength, take me to Your care with those whom You have taken to Your care, Bless me in what You have given me, Protect me from the evil You have Ordained. Surely You Command and are not commanded, and none whom You have committed to Your care shall be humiliated [and none whom You have taken as an enemy shall taste glory]. You are Blessed, our Lord, and Exalted”

Witr Prayer:

Muslims pray five times a day. However, there are additional prayers that go under the Sunnah Category. In other words, Prophet Muhammad used to perform these prayers as a way to get closer to God. Moreover, He also used to pray witr and do dua al-Qunoot to give thanks to Allah. Therefore, one of those Sunnah is Witr Prayer. The Witr, which in Arabic means an odd number, it was named Witr because there is only one rakah. Therefore, Muslims perform witr prayer at night after Isha prayer or before Fajr.

It is a silent prayer and a great act of worship that bring you closer to God Almighty. Furthermore, Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him never gave up on Witr prayer even when he was traveling. Nevertheless, it was recorded by Ali Ibn Abi Talib that Prophet Muhammad used to perform witr prayer and say ‘O you people of the Quran, perform the witr prayer, for Allah is One and He loves the witr’.
