So if Islam in Saudi Arabia does not prohibit restaurants to open during Ramadhan, which model or law that the municipal government of Serang base their justifications upon?

Hi Bob, thanks for sharing. I was quite surprised when i read this line, so I did a little Google search. I found that the Saudi Government does prohibit restaurant to open during the day in Ramadhan (source:http://www.thepinktarha.com/ksa/2014/06/top-5-things-to-remember-during-ramadan-in-riyadh.html), they even ban people from eating in public.

Since I haven’t been to Saudi by myself, I don’t know how it is implemented, but reading several posts that I found after doing a quick Googling, I’m sure that the law to ban restaurant to open during the day in Ramadhan is there.
