Overall, the most recent Intel open source drivers have been pretty solid so far. There have been only two shaders that my system has not been able to render well (the “slug” in your iPhone article and the checkboard-y thingie in your Intel article). Looking forward to your future tests. Have no mercy on Mesa! :D
Everything here is captured on a Fedora 25 system, with Firefox 51.0.1, Mesa 13.0.3, Linux 4.9.5.
Edit: forgot to mention, the GPU is an Iris Pro 5200 (Core i7–4750HQ).
First shader first! :D I can’t spot any difference between the two. I haven’t performed an automated pixel-per-pixel comparison…

During this time I actually switched my laptop for a new one, now it has Intel HD Graphics 620 (OS is Ubuntu again, Chrome 55), and when I open modified shader on a new laptop I get this:
