HTML (Hyper Text Mark-up Language)
HTML is an essential language for any web developer or programmer and the basis of all things web.
An HTML file contains the following-
- Document type declaration
- Head
- Body
- Elements (Comprises of opening and closing tags)
What is a Tag you may ask?
Well, tags are basically hidden “keywords” which define how a browser must format and display a content. There must be an opening tag and a closing tag. For an example, <html> is an opening tag and </html> is a closing tag. The opening and closing tags create an ELEMENT.
HTML 5 is the newer, better and much advanced version of HTML. Some of the great things that HTML 5 supports are-
New elements
New attributes
Full CSS3 support
Video and audio
2D/3D Graphics
Local Storage
SQL Databases and
Web Applications
