Interesting read, nice one Fisayo.

It appears most people get caught up in the frenzy of starting a Startup that they fail to ask themselves pertinent questions about that “great idea”. Questions like;

What problem(need) is your product solving(meeting)? What makes your product special and different from the others? Who are those doing the same thing you are doing? Who’s gonna use your product? Can they pay for it? How do you intend to reach them? Have you ever head of the saying, “Cash is King?” do you have enough cash to sustain your startup till you can at least breakeven? I’m sure you know the “almighty AMAZON” guess what, Amazon was incorporated in 1994, but made its first annual profit in 2003.

Imagine being a CEO, an accountant, a marketer, a driver, human resource manager, consultant all at the same time for a company that has been making losses for the last 6 months and your savings has to take a hit for the losses, that’s where you’ll find yourself 9/10 times if you are building a startup. So the question is do you have what it takes?
