AFOMA rewards is an innovative way to monetize loyalty and referral programs using the AFOMA (OMA) token on our multi-vendor handicraft marketplace, SELLITIC and with our other Reward Partners .
The AFOMA rewards program will be used to issue tokens to enhance buyer and merchant engagements within the SELLITIC marketplace, which will drive participation of both crypto and non-crypto natives.
Tokens will be issued for the following engagements:
- To incentivize customers for the purchase of any handmade products within the marketplace.
- To incentivize customers and (or) merchants for a successful referral and acquisition of a customer and (or) merchant.
- To incentivize merchants for positive feedback offered by customers purchase of their product.
The AFOMA rewards program was designed to help achieve the following:

- Maximize Customer Lifetime Value
- Increase Customer Retention
However, most importantly, the AFOMA rewards program is about building a community where every contribution or engagement within the marketplace ecosystem is incentivized using the AFOMA token.
SELLITIC will leverage Web 3.0 capabilities to deliver these incentives to our community (customers and merchants) simply by registering on the platform and participating in marketplace engagements. Every community member will have his/her earned tokens displayed in their respective virtual wallet, which will be embedded within the marketplace (visible via desktop and mobile view).
One of the advantages of leveraging the AFOMA token for our loyalty and referral program is based on the potential of cryptocurrency to fight against inflation and its ability to grow in value. This may not be guaranteed, however, the potential does still exist.
Customers and merchants on the SELLITIC platform can choose to hold the AFOMA token (as a store of value) or redeem it on the marketplace by buying products, tipping artisans and donating to supported charities.
