A hunter killed a gazelle & carried it on the shoulders through the jungle. Another gazelle saw its fellow “enjoying a ride” & felt very jealousy.

“How I wish someone carried me on the shoulders. Then I would never have to walk in this scorching sun,” the gazelle thought to itself.

The gazelle decided to follow the hunter. I don’t know what happened to the gazelle.

African Folktales

I write African Folktales: stories that my elders told around evening fire. Enjoy my book, A Force of Nature, which touches on friendship and race relations
