Amsterdam, September 13th — “Get the latest news first on NU.nl.” is what Sanoma advocates with its largest online news brand in the Netherlands. This highly favored app is able to reach and serve millions of users. Now NU.nl is teaming up with mobile agency aFrogleap (part of Oxyma) for all mobile creative and design work.
The first fruits of this partnership are already visible. As of today, the new versions of the iOS and Android NUsport apps are released. aFrogleap and NU.nl will enter into a continuous partnership to help with the creative and design challenges for all NU.nl apps.
The foundation of the new NUsport app was conceived using a Google design sprint with a multidisciplinary client-agency team. After doing a few of these product design sprints with different clients, aFrogleap can say that these sprints are an effective way to tell if a product is worth building.
NU.nl is the largest online news brand in the Netherlands. With millions of unique visitors per day on both its responsive website and the iOS and Android apps, NU.nl brings us the latest news on topics such as news from home and abroad, politics, tech, entertainment and sports.
