Medical Admission in Pakistan — PMC MDCAT — NUMS MDCAT

Medical Admission in Pakistan is a bigger process of education sectors in Pakistan. Many of who had done F.Sc intermediate with biology or equivalent A-Level are willing to adopt doctor as a profession like MBBS or BDS.

Therefore in Pakistan there are three major ways to become a doctor after intermediate.

1. Join Pak Army as Medical Cadet — With Army Medical Cadet Test
2. PMC (Pakistan Medical Council ) MDCAT Test
3. NUMS (National University of Medical Science ) MDCAT Test

if anyone wanted to come become a doctor, he was required to pass one of the above three test.

1. Pak Army medical Cadet test, This test was coducted by Pakistan army on army selection center, That is very best choice , because the whole course is conducted by Army Medical colleges , Candidate has nothing to pay as fee. Even a Student will get a stipend amount during this course.
2. PMC Entry Test, PMC that is also called PMDC ( Pakistan medical and Dental Council) is the body that is responsible for MDCAT Test all over the Pakistan. All the medical colleges public / private admit to students who have passed medical Exams. Only NUMS University Admission is exempted from PMC MDCAT test, They will conduct own NUMS MDCAT test.
3. National University of Medical Science (NUMS) conducts own MDCAT Test, that is applicable to all NUMS Afflicated and Constituent Colleges. In NUMS colleges admitison NUMS MDCAT Test is mandatory. NUMS will conduct admission as private and public admission. Public admission will be conduct for Army medical College Seats that are not self-financed, while Private Admission is conducted for all other colleges as self-financed.
