Aracely,

First I want to mention that I really liked your use of vocabulary. Words that stood out to me, just to mention a couple, were “adapt” and “embrace.” I can relate to adapting and embracing the use of language at all times.

I definitely agree that the teacher needs to adapt her teachings based on student’s needs and styles. As I had mentioned previously in a response, all students are very different. They learn differently. They act differently. They simply are different and that is the essence of the world, diversity.

Diversity must be accepted, validated, and embraced as you had mentioned. Students should be aware of their own language and culture including other student’s language and culture. To conclude, embracing, validating, and embracing their own language will allow the students to appreciate themselves and others.
