On a typical day, the streets of this Indian capital are as busy as ever. Traffic is chaotic with cows and livestock wandering the shanty lined streets. Despite this first impression, you will soon get to discover how special this city is. The best time to visit New Delhi is during the winter, in the summer, it gets really hot.

Things to do in New Delhi

Visit the 17th-century Red Fort and explore the mass domes and turrets. Visit the densely populated neighbourhood of Chandni Chowk. This place is more than three centuries old and is home to many Indian communities. Mingling with the locals will give you a taste of their everyday life. Sample the unique Indian street food such as stuffed Parathas, Mughlai food and Jalebis. Experience the stunning views of the Delhi 6 from the Jama Masjid. If you plan on extending your stay, there are over 700 hotels and restaurants in New Delhi.

Jaipur

The magnificent Stucco buildings that line Jaipur’s streets are the reason behind its “Pink City” nickname. Here, you can explore the Hawa Mahal, Jaigarh and Amber forts.

Visit the famous sights and landmarks of Jaipur namely the Chandra Mahal, Amber Fort and Nahargarh Fort.
