The AgeDEFY Way

If you’re new to AgeDEFY, begin with Phase 1 Movement Therapy for Pain and Stiffness.

AgeDEFY is for men and women of all ages who are experiencing pain and stiffness on a daily basis.

Phase 1 is a 30 day online membership that includes 20 BodyKnowledge coaching videos and 20 AgeDEFY workouts.

The Phase 1 program is the prerequisite to AgeDEFY Phase 2 BodyAbility Strength and AgeDEFY Phase 3 KettleBell FLOW.

AgeDEFY is designed for the injured and aging mover and it was created by Dawnelle after finding out she needed both hips replaced at the age of 42.

This is the program and the movement patterns that helped her to stay active while managing pain until she was ready for hip replacement surgery.

She had her left hip replaced May 20th, 2019 and is having her right hip replaced on February 3rd, 2020.

AgeDEFY Movement Therapy is a blend of yoga, personal training, mobility and strength workouts, physical therapy and movement choreography (aka FLOW) to help release pain and stiffness in the body.

This is the program that helped, and continues to help, Dawnelle before and after surgery and now she wants to share it with you.

No matter your age or injury, this program can help to manage pain and stiffness. It’s movement medicine in motion and it’s designed to make you feel better.

Who Should Do AgeDEFY?

AgeDEFY is for anyone who has pain and stiffness in the body.

How old should I be to do AgeDEFY?

There is no age limit to AgeDEFY online. This program is for men and women of all ages.

What equipment do I need?

For Phase 1 Movement Therapy you will need a PVC pipe for MobilityFLOW workouts, a pair of 5 and 8 pound weights, two yoga blocks, yoga mat, and a bag of therabands.

Where do I purchase the AgeDEFY equipment?

What is the workout schedule?

The movement prescription is 20 workouts in 30 days. Create the schedule that works for you or use the AgeDEFY prescription. Do the workouts Monday-Friday for 4 weeks. If you miss a workout, make it up on the weekend. We suggest doing the workouts first thing in the morning before going to work or before starting your day to get into the routine of AgeDEFY.

What if I miss too many workouts and I fall behind?

Don’t worry and don’t quit! We all fall behind, but we must stop the habit of stopping. If you fall behind, contact Dawnelle right away so she can motivate you to get started again. Together, you and her, will come up with a strategy to get you to the end of the program.

What if I don’t finish in 30 days?

If you don’t finish the 20 workouts in 30 days, you will be given the option to rent the AgeDEFY program for $29 per month until you finish.

What happens after Phase 1?

After you complete Phase 1 you will be invited to Phase 2 of the program. Phase 2 is BodyAbility Strength and it includes 8 BodyKnowledge Coaching Vidoes and 8 SculptFLOW and CROW pose training workouts. After completing Phase 3, comes Phase 3 KettleBell FLOW.

What if I want to keep doing AgeDEFY workouts after the program is over?

After you complete the program, you can continue to have access to all three phases for $29 per month for as long as you wish.

What if I want to try DEFY Online?

DEFY Online is included in the $29 per month AgeDEFY membership and the classes are available to all AgeDEFY graduates.

How do I begin?

The workouts are listed in order. Always begin with BodyKnowledge. If you do not have time to do BodyKnowledge and the workout in the mornings, then listen/watch the BodyKnowledge videos the night before and then do the workout in the morning. Or listen to the BodyKnowledge coaching in the morning and do the workouts at lunch or in the evening before bed.
