Spigot Ends Summer The Right Way

As summer came to an end, Spigot decided to throw a beach bash! At noon we shut the lights off in the office and everyone headed down to Bonita Beach. It was the perfect day- 85 degrees and just a few clouds in the sky. We claimed a couple beach pavilions and set up for the party.

We had a big cookout with burgers, hot dogs and sausages! Not to mention all the sides you could think of. We iced down the coolers full of drinks and of course… Jell-O shots! There was a piña colada flavor that was topped with Reddi-wip and a cherry, and a blue shark shot that had a gummy shark in it. We think it was a toss up for the office favorite.

Everyone got pretty hot so you could find most of us in the ocean relaxing. We also had a cornhole tournament, played some volleyball, and broke out our new Spikeball set.

In the afternoon the clouds started to roll in so we had to pack up, but we weren’t going to stop the party there. We went to a local beach restaurant that was right next to the pavilion and got some food (DUH) and hung out.

Overall, you could say it was a very successful beach day. I don’t think anyone even got burnt this time around!
