I hear you, but you don’t hear me.

There is a line of thinking that, qualitatively, a greater proportion of the human population more enjoyable lives prior to the Agricultural Revolution 14,000 years ago — due to factors like daily variation in activity, variation in diet, less direct competition for resources because there were so few other humans on the planet, etc.

While I don’t necessarily agree in total, we should look critically at principles we could glean from this and see how we could implement them today.
