Joan Bunney, Who Became a Cougar

At 60, Joan Bunney decided to change her life and finally become happy, attractive, and sexy. And, at 64, she felt more beautiful and healthy than ever before. Joan Bunney wrote a book about her experience, Sexy in Your 60s.

Now, Joan Bunney is 68. She goes on dates with younger men, gives lectures in various places, and is seriously considering writing a second book: Sexy in Your 70s.

Although today Joan Bunney is in amazing physical and spiritual form, that used to be far from the truth.

“Youth wasn’t the happiest time of my life,” she confesses. “I suffered from depression, from being overweight, was a workaholic, was in an unhappy marriage and even considered suicide.”

In conclusion, by 60, Bunney found herself divorced, and mother to a grown and independent daughter. She decided that it was the perfect time to finally work on her own life. She quit smoking (after 30 plus years), started working out, switched to a healthy diet, and started drinking a lot of ionized water. The result of her efforts was that in four years, she lost 15 kilograms and felt absolutely great.

“I prefer to grow younger, not older,“ says Joan Bunney. “It’s never too late to change.“

Bunney is confident that age is no reason to deny yourself romantic relationships.

“Maturity is a time of perfection in every way and that includes your sex life,“ she believes.

Joan identifies herself as a “Cougar,“ (women of a certain age who attract younger men) goes on dates with men significantly younger than herself, and occasionally writes newspaper columns about how to be a real “Cougar.“ Bunney is sure that any woman can make this kind of transformation.

“Anyone can change their life,“ she says. “To do this, you just need to concentrate on what you want to achieve and not get upset about what you already have. Really, there are no obstacles. It´s important to accept yourself. That’s the only way to unlock your true potential. It´s a simple truth, but it’s taken me 50 years to understand it.“
