Off Demand
Mike Sturm

Good piece. It’s particularly interesting how you show that the on demand lifestyle permits us to search for the news that confirms our stance on issues. However I believe that the on demand lifestyle is an expression of freedom. Why should someone curate what I listen or appreciate? It’s grand enough that they have created it, I should be allowed to approach these creations like a buffet. In addition there’s really no diversity in the forms of entertainment released to the masses today, we see repetitive tropes and arcs and this on demand approach is probably the only avenue we have to arrive at a place where we can satisfy independent tastes.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
