Cyber Tokyo (Neon Tokyo 3)
There has been so much hype around the release of Blade Runner 2049, but sadly here in Japan the release day is still a week away (27th of October).
I have been getting really inspired (and excited) by the original and from what I have seen of the new movie, that my photos have been leaning heavy towards the cyberpunk, neons and colors of Philip K. Dick’s imagination, Ridley Scott’s direction and Deckard’s world.
Tokyo is the perfect place to catch the vibrant neon lights, clashing against the tradition and culture.
These photos were all taken in either Shibuya’s Center Gai or Shinjuku’s Kabukicho/Golden Gai area, Tokyo.
