How to come to Qingdao?
By airplane: Qingdao has one airport now named Qingdao Liuting International Airport. There are direct flight lines from Qingdao to Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Australia, Taiwan, HongKong, Thailand, Russia, etc.
Qingdao also allows transit passengers 72-hour visa-free stays in Shandong Province.
By high-speed railway: If you plan to travel to Qingdao from Beijing or Shanghai, high-speed railway is also a good choice. It takes 4 to 5 hours from Beijing to Qingdao, and 6 hours if you leave from Shanghai.
How to tour around Qingdao?
Subway: Qingdao has built its subway in recent years, so it’s much more convenient for travelers to have a tour. The subway lines cover Qingdao’s train station, airport station, and main attractions, so you can directly take the subway to the attractions when you get off the train or airplane.
Taxi: It’s easy to take a taxi in Qingdao, especially when you useDiDi app (the ride-sharing company who bought UberChina) to request a ride.
