Is It Worth Writing?

Growing a writing “bonsai tree”.

Eevery time tired fingers start typing something at night, pushing coursor further and furter back, there’s a fleet of thoughts and questions storming through the head. Will it be shared with others? Why should it be interesting to someone? Does it introduce novelty? Will not work stuff fit into work text? Few blogs? Not sure there’ll be time to update one fast enough for it not to die. And so on…

One time I gave some piece of advice to a friend, it did it’s job that time and should work now for me as well. “…thinking too much!”, it sounded more like a statement than advice. And it’s true, there should be as little of unnecessary thinking as possible when writing, especially when there’s a vivid line on the fingertips that just needs to be recorded and not lost, even if it’s crazy, even if it’s useless.

Writing has always been something I wanted to do, something I did and sometimes I even got congrats for published pieces and people were recommending those articles to others. But I was never secure about my writing and never confident that what I’ve done has real value. Now, when it’s THAT easy to write and to share it with others I will plant my writing bonsai tree and work on it while it grows. Maybe one day for someone it will bring some value.
