How Does College Affect A Students Daily Life ?
In college, students have to make the transition of going to less classes with more intense work, rather than more classes with a low-level amount of work. However, students must handle their time in school differently because each person comes with a different struggle and strength. Some students must go to work to pay for tuition or to have money in their pockets. Some students must sleep throughout the day in order to be rested for their classes and for the rest of their day. College can sometimes take a toll on ones body and cause changes. This particular group have many things that have changed about them since they began college.

Aralis Sanchez, 18, takes the school shuttle bus to work because she cannot afford a car. This takes a toll on her because she leaves work extremely late and the shuttle bus stops running. This messes up her sleeping schedule. Aralis also admits that she has skipped class a little too much because she was tired from working and going to classes. Aralis is saving money for her tuition and a car to make it easier to work and go to school as a full-time student.

Tori Williams, 18, engages in a midday-nap to ensure she is fully rested for class after a night of studying.

Damian Goodridge, 18, is studying for his American People’s class. However, everyday he goes to his friends dorm because the commute is too much for him to travel back and forth. He says that commuting is tiring, and he should’ve formed instead. Damian says that he plans to play a game when he’s done with his homework because he’ll finally have free time.

Damian Goodridge, 18, is trying to finish his homework and screams in frustration towards his computer. He’s trying to type while his computer begins to open different kinds of windows.

Tori Williams, 18, feels very weak after the many nights of staying up past 3 in the morning everyday. She says the key to having her work done is staying up, completing her work, going to class and take a long nap after her classes.

Aralis Sanchez, 18, claims that college has messed up her eating schedule and that she actually lost up to 10 pounds since being on this campus.

Agania Chicaneau, 18, goes to cheer practice every Monday’s & Wednesday’s. She has a late class that ends at 7:00pm so she must rush back to her dorm and make it to practice the latest at 7:30pm. She doesn’t have time to eat or do homework until after she returns from Practice. Chicaneau is very happy with being on the team because it allows her to stay fit, meet others, and still get work done although it may come in late.
