keep the faith and fight for the faith

Holding faith and a good conscience, [concerning] which some, thrusting [these] away, have become shipwrecked regarding the faith. 1 Tim. 1:19

Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. 1 Tim. 3:9

We need to keep the faith and fight the good fight of the faith by laying hold on the eternal life.

The faith in its objective aspect is the contents of God’s New Testament economy concerning Christ and the church.

May we not emphasise anything else except the faith, and may we fight for this speciality in the church life, our faith.

Lord Jesus, we want to be established in the faith, keep the faith, and fight the good fight of the faith. Amen, Lord, we lay hold on the eternal life and we fight for the faith!
