Agora Square Integrates Chainlink Automation to Help Trigger Proof of Patron NFT Redeemability
We’re excited to announce that Agora Square, a decentralized discussion and deliberation platform, has integrated Chainlink Automation live on Polygon mainnet. We are leveraging Chainlink Automation to help automate the Proof of Patron (PoP) NFT redeemability upon confirmation of each Discourse event. As a result, each funder reliably receives a Proof of Patron NFT to attest participation in each Discourse they facilitate through funding.
As the most dependable Web3 automation solution, we choose to employ Chainlink Automation to help power Agora Square and trigger the redeemability of PoP NFTs for on-chain funders of each Discourse. The Chainlink Automation Network is operated by the same pool of time-tested, provably reliable node operators that currently help secure tens of billions of dollars in DeFi, even during record levels of network congestion and extreme volatility. The proven infrastructure of Chainlink helps ensure that every post-Discourse PoP NFT allocation is executed on time in a trust-minimized manner, giving users additional guarantees that it will function exactly as intended.
Agora Square is fostering an environment for fruitful Discourse through its Discourse Pools feature. Discourse Pools facilitate discussions and debates between select speakers via user-generated on-chain crowdfunding campaigns. Funding is divided between speakers and the philanthropic allocation chosen by the speakers. This offers a financial and social incentive for discourse to actually occur. With the aid of this platform, thought leaders and others will be able to engage in dialogue for the purposes of general knowledge discovery, expert deliberation, tailored events, and much more.
Chainlink Automation is needed in order to trigger the redeemability of the PoP NFTs upon on-chain confirmation. This way, those who contribute to the discussions on the platform can be identified and acknowledged.
