Day 309/365: The Whooshing of Time

Time flies. It literally whooshes by. I know this is no secret but seeing pictures from friends who had just written their final exam, the familiar realisation hit me afresh.
Also, the fact that I'll be older in December contributed to this harsh awakening that life moves fast.
I can't help but think of the things I want to do before I get to enjoy them. I've never been one to put age limits for certain things but it's no secret that some things are better enjoyed when you are young, i.e. travelling, one of my few passions.
However, I've come to understand that in as much as time plays a very huge role in our lives, I must not let it stop me from living now, despite limited resources. If this means, I fuel one passion that I can afford instead of one I can't, then I must.
Because no matter how time flies, memories especially with loved ones (no matter where) would always occupy a special place in my heart.

Now, where's my ice-cream?
