Love the inspirational post! “Be the change you want to see” used to be the tagline of my blog before I discovered Gandhi’s opinion on women + I finally have an original tagline that’s purely mine “You’re the triple integral of your values, experiences and environment.”
Your writing is amazing, so I don’t know why you think you’re not a good writer. It’s funny I was always inspired by this story I heard once in school,
“When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world.
I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation.
When I found I couldn’t change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn’t change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.
Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family.
My family and I could have made an impact on our town.
Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.”
Of course, with time I went through many stages until I reached a point where I was a cynic who thought I don’t want to change the world anymore. I just want to survive it. But investing in yourself is the way to go. Now I’m in a peaceful place of self-love and investing in myself is a priority.
Anyhow, these are random thoughts inspired by your blog. Thanks for writing!
