big programs would just further the out of control debt, and the economic strain it already has on the eradicate poverty means to eradicate the government’s purchases and we-know-better spending schemes which weaken us all. At this point each taxpayer would need to pay 150,000 to pay it off. And you know what we are headed towards — a dangerous ratio where the debt interest surpasses the defense budget. This is not a fix, and it’d be great but I think a War on poverty would not and can not help us in our current state.
