A mother is a blessing to all of us. She is the one who loves and cares for her children unconditionally. Her sacrifices, her selflessness, her guidance, and her unwavering love are immeasurable. Expressing gratitude for a mother is a way to show appreciation for all that she has done and continues to do for her children.

Well, it’s Mother’s Day today and I know I don’t have to tell you about loving your mother. You already do and you will spend your life loving her. There is no greater bond than Mother and Son. You have such a beautiful relationship with your Mother, and your mother loves you a lot too. She is always ready to go above and beyond for you and cross the boundaries which are difficult to cross in a world full of binding social contracts.

I know this because I have been blessed by Allah with a great mother. There are stories of her sacrifice and things she has done for your Dad, uncle, and aunt which are beyond imagination and I wish I could tell you all of those in person but this is really unfortunate that I can’t. Your Dadi’s has led a difficult life and she was happy when your Dad and Mom got married that may be now she will have a good time which she very well deserved. Little did she know that it was just the beginning of the worst time of her life.

Anyway, your mom has made sacrifices too for you and she will continue doing so for your entire life, respect her, love her, and care for her, the way you need her, she will need you to be by her side always and just like I never left my mother, do not leave her for anyone in your life. Doesn’t matter the price you have to pay for that. No price is greater than your mother’s worth. Nothing compares to her love and nothing can even come close to making sense of what your mother can do for you.

When you grow wiser, know that just “Mother’s Day” is not her day. Every day is Her day. Every single day. As per The Quran, your Jannah lies in her feet and you do not pray for Jannah just a day in a year. Pray for it every day! Every single day!

Today, I am taking time to be thankful and grateful for my mother being alive and well. God have mercy on her and keep her well for the longest time possible and grant her peace and Jannah and have mercy on her in the afterlife and may we meet in the heavens again after this world to be never separated again and I pray the same for you as well.

One of the most important ways to show gratitude for a mother is to spend quality time with her. With our busy lives, it’s easy to forget to make time for those we love, especially our mothers. But taking the time to sit down and talk to her, to listen to her stories, and simply be present at the moment can be a powerful way to show her how much we care.

Another way to express gratitude for a mother is to acknowledge the sacrifices she has made for her children. From the moment a child is born, a mother’s life revolves around her children. She puts her own needs and desires aside to ensure that her children are taken care of. She may sacrifice her career, her social life, and her own personal goals to make sure that her children are happy and healthy. Recognizing these sacrifices and expressing gratitude for them can be a powerful way to show a mother that her love and dedication are appreciated.

Gratitude can also be expressed by acknowledging the lessons and values that a mother has taught her children. Mothers are often the ones who instill in their children important values like honesty, integrity, kindness, and perseverance. These values are the foundation of a child’s character, and they stay with them throughout their lives. Expressing gratitude for a mother’s guidance and wisdom can be a powerful way to show her that her lessons have not gone unnoticed.

Finally, expressing gratitude for a mother can also be done by simply saying “thank you”. These two simple words can have a profound impact on a mother’s heart. They let her know that her love and dedication are appreciated and that her hard work has not gone unnoticed.

In conclusion, expressing gratitude for a mother is an important way to show her how much she is loved and appreciated. Whether it’s through spending quality time together, acknowledging her sacrifices, recognizing her guidance and wisdom, or simply saying “thank you,” showing a mother that she is valued and appreciated is a wonderful way to express gratitude for everything she does.

See you tomorrow!
