The Interested Challenge
Always be interested in other because everyone wants to hear about themselves not about you. This is formula of how to win friends and influence people, which is also a title of book written by Dale Carnegie. In which he describe that how it is important to talk with people about themselves rather about ourselves. “You can make more friends in two months by becoming genuinely interested in other people then you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you” He says. He quotes the example dog that makes his living by doing nothing but giving you love. He also talks about Napoleon’s love for Josephine. No one will read the books of an author if he will only talk about his life and not about other people. The way to impress people is to show them how they are important for you. People get tedious if they are not hearing about themselves. One can easily win the attention, time, cooperation by becoming interested in them. This applies for every person in life no matter for which field he is related to either he is magician, author, teacher or even president. Kind words can win many hearts.

This activity helps me a lot in my daily routine. When I put this idea of talking about other people in my life I really feel that people are more attentive in listening me and focusing on what I am saying. In a gathering where everyone is busy about talking about themselves and making their stories I use to tell others stories. Believe me or not this really makes me an important person because everyone wants to hear his story. So make sure you are giving others enough time to speak because when he speaks for himself, he will also speak for yourself.
