LAU Mini Football Tournament 2017

Many goals, this was the title of the opening day of LAU’s 2017 Mini football tournament played on the tennis court.

Excitingly the first three games experienced a lot of goals and fair play, with the presence of only few students cheering.

The Syrian club won 8–2 over the Saudi club. The Palestinian club won 3–2 over the Japanese club, and surprisingly, the Armenian club won 13–4 over the UNESCO.

The tournament was a chance to create good ties between cultural clubs, where students from different nationalities played in mixed clubs.

The tournament is hosted by the office of dean of students every spring.

The questions remains if today’s matches will be as exciting and fair as the matches before?
