The Robot Tax Is Not Gonna Save Your Job

Definitely agree that the “robot tax” should not be (or will not be) an incentive for corporations to keep human labor — but I do believe that we need an active taxation of automation, in the form of a corporate tax. I actually wrote about this just today.

Using a corporate tax imposition to fund job training could make sure that America’s labor force can be retrained in marketable skills, so as to save tax revenue and their careers.
