Small and Medium Enterprise who Inspired Krealogi

The biggest economy fundamentally in Indonesia, always centered to Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). They’re survive in any situation even in economy crisis. Many of them are so small but selling to another island, even country. The products are widely known from coal to handy crafts, from structural to individual, from good management to as much as they can do.

According to that problems, Krealogi come to help SMEs so they can manage all the orders, financial, and service to customer.

Krealogi is recording Apps that have some fundamental features for SMEs like Managing Orders, Production planning, and financial reports.

in developing Krealogi Apps, found that CRM features highly needed by user to interact with customer. In that case, Krealogi as Challenge Partner in this Training give us to solve this problem.

Goals

The “Core” goals of this project is to make a friendly User experience and make Krealogi Apps more easy to use, include:

  1. Adding CRM features so user can easily contact customer that comes from any marketplace or messaging platform
  2. Make a simple Dashboard for User, so they can easily see how many orders, profit, and another info at certain time

My role in Group 4

Me, @Bedi Setiawan, Dwi Wahyu Santoso, Mutia Bella Savira and @Dini rahadhiny chosen to be Group 4, as UI/UX Designer. So We’re learned from Day 1 to Finish this project.

In this Group, my role basically are:

  1. Doing a research for define and ideate phase.
  2. Creating user flow and wire frames
  3. Support all the team. Especially to finish the final design from half-baked and make prototype.

Design Process

In this case, we choose Design Thinking as fundamental of design process, because Design thinking is a process for solving problems by prioritizing the consumer’s needs above all else. It relies on observing, with empathy, how people interact with their environments, and employs an iterative, hands-on approach to creating innovative solutions.

1 — Empathize

In this phase, we try to find why CRM is highly needed to Krealogi Apps. User are usually try to sell they product at any platform in digital Apps, like Instagram, WhatsApp, Tokopedia, Shoppee and etc. All orders and Chat highly confused User to track they progress. So we finally choose How Krealogi need to improve their Apps.

2 — Define

After doing research based on user point of view. We found some problems, We’re doing this using Figjam at Figma Apps.

Based on Pain Points, We Write How Might We to ensure the Goals that we choose.

After writing some How Might We Process, we vote and choose the best Point for Krealogi Apps and we moved to Ideate process.

3 — Ideate

After voting the best Point we try to choose, Grouping, and Make a priority which Point is a must and how big the effort to finish the points we choose

4 — Prototyping

At this phase. First we make how the workflow will be.

After Revision all along. This is Our final Prototype

5 — Testing

At this phase, we come to some SMEs user to get some point from them. After get 2 correspondent this is the testing result.

Conclusion

SMEs In Indonesia is so wide, form high tech user to low. Krealogi come to help SMEs to make ecomonic go digital. From our Training we got some conclusion :

  1. Indonesia have many variety customer from any marketplace and Messaging Apps. So we need a general knowing Apps for everyone
  2. CRM features is key to Develop user to gain more customer. So Multi API Service is the anwers from us.
  3. We Got 7 points average from Research and Testing which is good from a newbie like us to keep improving our UI / UX skill.

Based on our Usability testing, Our goals Achieved. Overall insight from our respondent can understand how to use the apps natively, but they’re confusing which feature that we’re mean to because this is Our first Usability testing process at the time.

Next Goal

No body is perfect even our project. There always room for improvement, this is what we think:

  1. Create more friendly flow how to use CRM features so user can natively use Krealogi Apps.
  2. Better advance Dashboard so User can use it to get more insight.

At the end, we learning a lot from this Training Program and specially me hoping to be an UI / UX really soon. Pray for me all. Amiiin
